Cabinet staining · Yakima + 60 miles
Cabinet staining that keeps the wood and skips the demolition
Kitchen and bathroom cabinets removed, degreased, sanded and stained in multiple coats, typically 60-80% less than replacement.
Chapter 01
Tired cabinets are usually a finish problem, not a cabinet problem
Look at the doors beside the stove and under the sink. The finish is worn through where hands land, there is a film of cooking grease that no cleaner fully lifts, and the edges have gone dull and patchy. The boxes behind those doors are often perfectly sound solid wood.
Replacing every cabinet to fix a worn surface means paying for demolition, new boxes and a new install. A stained finish on the cabinets you already have typically costs 60-80% less than full replacement, and the kitchen still reads as a clear change.
In most cases solid wood and many wood veneer cabinets take stain well. Ramon looks at yours during the free on-site estimate and says honestly whether staining is the right call.

How the cabinets come back, step by step
We start with a full cabinet assessment and a plan. Then the doors and drawers come off, and every piece is cleaned and degreased before anything else, because stain will not hold over kitchen grease. Sanding follows, to open the wood up and level out the worn spots.
The stain goes on in multiple coats so the color builds evenly and the grain stays visible. A protective topcoat seals it, the hardware is reinstalled, and we finish with an inspection and a full cleanup of your kitchen.
A typical kitchen takes 5-10 days, depending on how many cabinets there are and how complex the job is. The crew is family-run, licensed, bonded and insured in Washington, and you can reach us on (509) 910-1408 Monday to Friday, 8 to 5.
Chapter 03
Keeping the finish right, and knowing when it is due again
The topcoat does the daily work, so treat it kindly. Wipe spills up when they happen and skip harsh abrasive cleaners, which dull a protective finish faster than anything else in a kitchen.
You will know it is due again when the area around the sink and stove goes dull, the surface feels tacky after cleaning, or the color starts to look worn at the handles. Catching it then is a refresh, not a rebuild.
If anything is missed at the final walkthrough, they offer touch-ups. One reviewer said she couldn't find anything that needed touching up at the end of her job.
"Their attention to detail and thorough preparation work truly set them apart." Carrie Mack, Google review.
