Our work

Finished jobs around the Yakima valley

These are our own photos, taken from our Google listing and our Instagram. They are real houses we have painted or stained, not stock pictures and not renders.

Nearly all of them are exteriors, because that is what gets photographed. Inside work, cabinets and garage floors are on the services pages, and we are happy to talk about them at the estimate.

Log homes and wood stain

Stain soaks into the wood instead of sitting on top of it, so the grain stays visible and the color gets deeper. Log walls take a lot of sun and weather on a Yakima hillside, which is why they need prepping properly and re-staining on a schedule. Read how we do it on our wood staining page.

Tall A-frame log home with freshly stained golden logs, a green metal roof, a wall of masked windows and a boom lift on site
The A-frame log home mid re-stain: golden logs, green metal roof, the wall of windows still masked in plastic, ladders and a boom lift standing by.
Two-storey log-sided home with a warm golden stain and green metal roof, a painter in yellow on a ladder at the left edge
A two-storey log-sided home under a green metal roof, one of the crew on a ladder at the corner, windows masked while the stain goes on.
A built-in deck bench half re-stained, weathered grey-tan on the left and fresh cedar red on the right
A deck bench caught half way through a re-stain: weathered grey-tan on the left, fresh cedar red on the right. The line down the middle is the whole before and after in one frame.

Repaints: body, trim, doors

A good repaint is mostly what you cannot see: the washing, scraping, caulking and priming under the color. What you can see is the cut line where body meets trim, the door that looks new, and a color that suits the house. Color guidance is part of every job, and more than one reviewer on our reviews page says it was what sold them.

Tan two-tone ranch home with white columns, stone wainscot and a black front door
A newer ranch in two tones: tan body, white columns, stone wainscot and a black front door.
Small grey bungalow with bright white trim and windows, black iron stair rails and potted topiaries under an overcast sky
A small grey bungalow with bright white trim and windows, black iron stair rails and a pair of potted topiaries by the steps.
Light grey lap siding with crisp white trim, French doors and an open garage under a wide sky
Light grey lap siding with white trim around the French doors, an open garage to the side. Look at where the trim meets the siding: that clean edge is the job.
Saturated blue lap siding with white fascia and a side yard
Saturated blue lap siding against white fascia. Color help is the thing our reviewers mention most.
Grey-blue ranch home with a white porch railing and green lawn in low sun from the left
A grey-blue ranch with a long white porch railing, low sun coming across a green lawn.
Large ranch home with a stone and timber entry, a white rail fence and a wide lawn below a forested hill
A large ranch home with a stone-and-timber entry, a white rail fence along the lawn and a forested hill behind.
A long gravel drive leading up to a single-storey ranch house among mature trees, a flag on a pole
A long gravel drive up to a single-storey ranch house among mature trees. A small photo, but it shows the long, tree-lined kind of property in our service area.
